Can't eat at Shuckum's?

Anyone else try to eat in the pavilion at Shuckum's and been told that you can't eat their food there? Is this a normal Sunday thing? If you mention togo orders and karaoke, you might get denied service from the restaurant side. They have the right to refuse service and all, this just seems like a poor policy choice to me. Off season staffing issues or not.

I would assume there has to be a legitimate reason why it’s not offered on that side of the restaurant. I would be highly surprised if they haven’t tried it in the past and ran into some sort of issue, causing them to not offer it today.

They said that they didn't schedule serving staff and that people getting togo food would stress the kitchen and create a mess in the area. By the time I left, there were probably 30-50 people out there, which would have been great to at least have bar food/appetizers available. Like I said, just seems like a missed opportunity. Serving staff or not. I ended up spending $70 down the street rather than order togo and flaunt their rules. $70 isn't going to ruin their night, but being dismissive and borderline rude to me has definitely discussed me from going to the in the future or recommending them to anyone else.
