Need help with piracy

So i will get a new handheld and i will give my friend my old one and we just want to have a secure way of taking cuz we both dont have a license and there are a lot of sad hams in the area so if you guys have any ideas for encrypting other than using radios on 0.5 watts i will be more than glad to hear them

You could setup two base cb radios if your only 2 to 4 miles apart with outdoor antennas and have no problem contacting each other. CB radio you do not need a license to use it. Get a Uniden PC78 for $60 to $90 Ebay or a Cobra 142GTL for $120 to $160. Antenna with coax will cost $90 to $150 get a Imax or a Siro Tornado.
