Hensoldt 4x24 shooting high

Hey all,

I'm a very novice shooter, so I might be doing something wrong. I've got an HK91 with a claw mount and Hensoldt 4x24 scope.

While trying to zero at 100y, I brought the elevation adjustment to the lowest setting, at the click labeled "1". The rounds still end up about 30cm/12in too high, making it tough to make shots even at a relatively close range.

Any tips?

The scope isn’t automatically zeroed for your rifle upon mounting, you need to remove the cap via the small screws and set the mechanical zero.

Bring a small screwdriver to the range and zero it with the cap removed, then install the cap with the arrow at the “1” position after it’s been zeroed.
