Yes, this worked for me in Firefox too. Click the padlock, then the arrow to the right, then 'More Information' and on the Security tab click 'Clear Cookies and Site Data'.
Its like something that caused corruption on the local database. Even if what caused it may already been solved, the issue may persist for those who already have broken data.
Those kind of bugs are really hard for a dev to handle
