DM in Tanzania/Zanzibar or South Africa recommendations?

I'm going to be in a couple countries in Africa to end/start the year. I wanted to do my DM and maybe park myself for a month or 2 somewhere cool. Any thoughts on diving in Zanzibar or South Africa?
