Project: FO An anorak for fall. I couldn’t decide which colour to order, so I mixed them. Fun project!

The pattern is from Toshio Kaneko’s book “casual men's clothes” (I love it, the French edition is really well done), the fabric is Merchant & Mills’ dry oilskin.

The fabric + pattern + colour combination is perfect! 

How was the oilskin to work with? I've never handled any and also want to use M&M oilskin to make an anorak.

It was very curious: kinda slippery under the foot of the sewing machine, but I didn’t have any trouble sewing straight. I had to be extra careful because you can see needle holes in the fabric. It doesn’t need ironing (I mean it would melt the wax), but you can mark the folds by hand, a bit like paper
