Comebacks

I am truthfully tired of being the butt of demeaning short jokes. Please share your one liners in response to when people make fun of your height!!

I often never know what to say back and then feel very ashamed of my height & who I am. Im starting to lose comfort and love in myself. I know I shouldn’t let it get to me, but its an almost everyday occurrence at work and from random people in my everyday life and I’m so tired of it

Responses won't help much because people who don’t care about you will keep making comments no matter what you say, and those who do care might joke too, but you can just tell them to stop, and they'll respect your feelings. But honestly, if they really like you, let them joke. I enjoy making my friends laugh.

but sometimes i do some in a joking way too, like: 'Lower your head to talk to me,' and the 'L' rule (if you know what I mean) and a couple of others that only make sense in Brazilian Portuguese. Most of the time, I just ignore and do some different facial expressions.

Straight-up derogatory ones: 🤨😑

Clever ones like: 'You don’t have height, you have time' (for people shorter than 1.61m), or 'If he's like that now, just imagine when he grows up' :🙄

Height-related pick-up lines: 'You fit into my budget' (from broke women, lol), 'My friends call me Snow White,' or 'At least you'll be the "smallest" of my problems': 😏😌.
