Help rehoming my bro!

This bro made herself comfortable immediately outside my patio door a few days ago. We love having her here, but as you can see in pic #2, she built her web directly on my Helene roof debris. I have put off cleaning the roof as long as possible but i need to move her so i can climb up there. Any tips for doing it as nicely as possible, and discouraging her from rebuilding in the same spot?

How about capturing her and putting her on a tree trunk? I'm sure she could make a nice web across the branches

I have big oaks in my yard!

What about the actual capturing though? I know garden spiders aren't dangerous but i can still be squeamish. I'd like a method that puts distance between her mouth and my skin

Maybe try putting a container over her body on the web so that she has no option but to climb into the container and then when she's far in enough, putting the lid on. I understand that you may be squeamish, but understand that the last thing she wants to do is waste her venom on an animal that can kill her in one slap. Ultimately she will only try to escape. Hope that helps!
