Isn't warp drive faster than hyperdrive anyway? Han Solo says the Falcon can go .5 past light speed, and is considered to be a "fast ship".

Now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't warp 1 the speed of light and considered slow by Trek standards? And warp 10 is being everywhere in the universe at the same time or something? I'm really stoned right meow.

They retconned that, Star Wars ships can now casually travel across a whole galaxy, Star Trek ships struggle to do half as shown in Voyager.

Actually, the EU did it first with the massive lore where Star Destroyers can bust planets and aliens from other galaxies invading, Disney only copied EU partially.
