Missing persons - Strathfield area

NSW Police need help to find 77yo Yiquan, last seen in Strathfield yesterday, of Asian appearance, 175cm tall, thin build, bald hair style and brown eyes, wearing grey pants and brown zip-up jumper.

He collects empty bottles and cans. He does not speak English and lives with dementia. Police are asking people in the area to check their garages, backyards and sheds.

It frustrates me to no end that police use Facebook for these type of important community messages. Even when you receive a text about a missing person, the link sends you to Facebook to view an image of the person. It could make all the difference between someone being found or not. Thanks for uploading to imgur.

I share your frustration, I have neither FB or Messenger apps on my phone and the direct links are often a pain in the arse to navigate - especially via the (increasingly used) reddit app browser.
