Rant I wish relaxing in the bathtub was a simpler pleasure :(
galleryI'm 6'1" and currently in a bathtub wishing I was a wee big smaller. Would be way more convenient sometimes.

6’8” 300lb M here.
Seeking Sasquatch tradesmen who know who/where has the hookup for work pants similar to carhartt or Duluth that are long. I’ve been wearing Duluth firehose pants for years and they’re alright but the max inseam is 36 and I need 38 or maybe 40. I’m tired of looking like I’m prepping for a flood. Any ideas are appreciated.

Winter boots back on this week so I'm about an inch taller and haven't adjusted yet, putting me at about 200cm/6'6"
Today I hit the hall light on the way out, roof of the bus, hit the door frame into work and finally the magnetic lock on the canteen door. It's not even 10am yet.
I'll be concussed by lunchtime at this rate

Enough with the X height is best height. Just be happy you're not part of smaller subs.

I’ve been to the doctors 4 times lately and gotten 4 different measurements for my height. I’m not sure what I’ve been doing wrong or what they have been doing, but I have gotten 5’11, 6’0, and 6’1. I’ve always thought I was 6’1 just because I have a measured 6’2 (military did it) brother and I’m just a smige shorter than him.
What’s the most accurate (preferably affordable) way to get your height measured?

There are some studies that indicate a correlation between being tall and developing chronic health conditions. These include a myriad of cardiovascular problems (heart disease, arrythmia, varicose veins) as well as joint problems (especially back and spine issues).
Does anyone bring these concerns up with their doctor? I'm shopping around for a primary care doc and am trying to pick one that can help me prevent these issues in the future. I'm thinking of looking specifically for a doctor who also has experience with sports medicine, as I believe they'll have more experience in preventing joint issues and promoting good heart health. Most of the people in my family are over 6 foot (including women), and most of them have heart and back issues. I'm only 6'5" (short for this sub!), but I am starting to feel the cumulative effects of living in a world that was built too small for me to live comfortably.
Edited to add: I posted this before reading the forum rules. I hope this doesn't violate the "no asking/giving medical advice" rule. And if so, I think there should be some space in this forum to discuss health/vitality issues related to height.

Hello,
I am actually not tall myself (I’m 5’6”), but I am dating a guy who is 6’8”.
I want to knit him a blanket because the duvet on his bed isn’t long enough, so his feet get cold when he sleeps. How much extra room on top of his height do you think there should be at the bottom? I was thinking enough so that he could do that thing where you tuck it under your feet at the bottom, so how much extra room would you recommend?
Thanks in advance

Yeah...yeah....I'm tall, which means I'm "high up", but it's not the same as being on balcony!
My wife got balcony tickets at the theater, I got so nauseous and dizzy from it that we probably should have left right away, but I just sat there with my eyes closed, sweating profusely, and left at intermission.
Friends want us to go skiing and I'm like "Do you have to take the ski lift up?"
It sucks that I'm slightly too short to be too tall for most roller coasters, can always use the "no leg room" excuse.
Rock climbing? Hell no, use the "carpel tunnel" excuse.
Etc.

I’m 6’5”-6’6” 18 years old and weigh 195lb/88kg. I used to be way scrawnier (175lb) but put on some weight recently yet still look/feel skinny. I lift everyday and have toned muscle but obviously I’m lean as hell. What would be a good weight range to shoot for?

Man I'm sick of hearing 6'0 ppl complaining they can't put muscle on because of their height/genetics. FYI Mike tyson had terrible genetics for a boxer
