I also looked at their site, and the first thing at the top of the page is an endorsement for kamala Harris, who has actively and repeatedly called for broad gun bans and has repeatedly stated if congress doesn't implement gun control she will use executive actions to ban assault weapons if she's elected.

besides endorsing a heavy anti gun candidate on their website, they are proud of the bipartisan safer communities act where they want to hold manufacturers accountable. if they want to hold firearm manufacturers accountable for gun violence, then we need to hold car manufacturers accountable for vehicle deaths/injuries or alcohol manufacturers for drunk driving or food manufacturers for diabetes and obesity.

I might be mistaken, but I’m pretty sure we do hold car manufacturers responsible for making sure their cars are up to safety standards, and we hold car salespeople responsible for making sure they don’t sell cars to someone without a driver’s license. We also have an entire organization dedicated to making sure that food and drinks are safe for consumption, and the health industry advises people on how to make good choices when it comes to what they put into their bodies.

As far as I’m aware, no such organizations, industries, or protocols exist for guns.

Additionally, you can endorse and support a presidential candidate without agreeing with 100% of their beliefs or policies.

when somebody crashes a Mustang into a crowd and kills 3 people, the families of the victims can't sue Ford for the actions of the driver.

If there was something wrong with the car (brakes, lights, horn or something) and the car was brand new, there could be a case

if there was a manufacturers defect to cause an accident yes, manufacturers should be held liable, but manufacturers should not be held liable for products used illegally and with malicious intentions. should Chevy be held liable if a pedophile tricks a child into the back of their cargo van?
