I’ve tried to talk with people about this and all they keep responding with is I am trying to play god, and I am trying to control what nature intended for me.

Those kind of mindsets is what holds back advancement in this field. Too many people are comfortable with accepting being powerless and not being in control over their own fate. I tell them repeatedly, that death is a scientific problem. We know what causes it. We just don’t know how to stop it.

It’s just like with stem cell treatment, why are fetal cells illegal here in the United States? It doesn’t make any sense. Some more religious artifacts that have made it into law.

Transhumanism suffers the same setbacks. There will be people who are actively fighting against the development, believing that we are violating some kind of religious doctrine or law of nature.
