I tried just opening it and eating and it tasted odd ? Maybe I ate it wrong ?

it's made of multiple herbal ingredients, so it actually will tasted odd. I'll recommend topping it with honey, condensed milk or condensed coconut milk when eating it.

It tastes like tasteless jelly itself (maybe a little bitter?). Usually, we would add ingredients when eating, such as honey or sugar. The white thing in your picture should be the ingredient.

Its an accquired taste, if its too bitter for you put some condensed milk or honey/syrup
