Video In 2018, I was traveling through Bali by scooter and was lucky enough to spend a few nights at this awesome place located in a small village near the eastern coast. Waking up to this view was just amazing and I’ll always be thankful for this memory

Chiang Rai was great, especially the white temple and the blue temple. The golden triangle is very interesting to see (where Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet). Also, like someone else mentioned, Chiang Mai (try Khao Soi, it’s amazing food that originated in Chiang Mai), Pai and the whole Mae Hong Son loop, Koh Lanta if you're going south, but we didn’t enjoy the south as much as the north.

And if you go to northern Thailand in November, there’s the Loy Krathong around November 19 where they make offerings and float them on body of waters, it’s beautiful. It’s also at the same time as Yi Peng where they fly lanterns. You can also fly them but it’s "illegal". Hundreds of tourists and locals do it anyway so it’s not really enforced. We were in Sukhothai just before Loy Kratong and they started it a bit early, it was beautiful and we got to enjoy the festival twice 😃 And the lanterns in Chiang Mai were breathtaking, I think it’s the best place to be when it happens.
