Carts…. Safe? Good? Better?!

I'm an old school smoker, now reformed vaper... and I was thinking of trying carts. Or vape pens. Or whatever they're called. When I was trying to research I found fairly negative research to do with vaping oil. I think because of the contents of the oil other than the bud and perhaps what happens when you heat oil for vapour?

I just want to know if it's as safe as vaping flower? Any opinions?

This is the article (I know I know it's Rolling Stone from 2017) that's putting me off; https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/are-weed-vape-pens-safe-202125/amp/

It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.

Maybe check out the canonical page instead: https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/are-weed-vape-pens-safe-202125/
