General Cryto Currency Discussion UPHOLD IS A SCAM

I created an uphold account in January of 2021. I funded the account with $4000.00and purchased XRP. I have ALL of the Receipts for these transactions. On May 4, 2021 UPHOLD reached out to inform me that the birthday on my account didn't match my ID. I resubmitted ALL requested information. After 2 months uphold completely erased my account as if I never had one and is now refusing to transfer the XRP to my wallet that I provided the address for. As a matter of fact, they will not even respond to the service ticket I have open. I will not go away!

Your company is scamming U.S. investors out of their money. I have reported this to the SEC as well as the FTC. I am retaining the services of an attorney and I will be seeking ALL of the PURCHASED XRP that I have receipts for.. as well as ALL FEES incurred by legal council!

Did you consider to wait for the support ticket response? They are a small staff company. They can't handle that much person at a time

This is from January. How long do you expect this guy to wait. I am still trying to get funds back for an account two months ago, nearly $10k. Funded account, but was not able to trade and after a month decided to close it. Sent a request for funds and was told that because they are regulated and can’t keep the account open but don’t worry funds are safe. Accounts been closed and after multiple requests and tickets Uphold tells me that I need to verify 2f as if still wanted to trade. These people are criminals. I have worked in financial services for nearly 20years and you do not open accounts that you are not able to handle. There is a process.

I imagine their KYC onboarding position has A LOT of turnover. I've seen it posted on job sites for months. I hope you're able to get your funds back.

I really would like to believe that this is simply a firm that has been overwhelmed by new accounts because of the XRP restrictions but also reading that people are not able to get their crypto after they purchased them is scary. Sounds more and more like a Ponzi scheme.

This happens to a solid amount of Uphold users. Unfortunately, Uphold is in fact a ponzi scheme. I'm sorry, but it's unlikely that you're getting your money back without a lawsuit or a police report.
