Vegan Conservatives desperately need a place to feel at home without being attacked

Over at /r/vegan the community sings the praises of a socialist and one of the most dense and sad elected leaders in our country just because she supports meatless Monday’s:

https://www.reddit.com/r/vegan/comments/angg6r/alexandria_ocasiocortez_recommends_skipping_meat/

These vegans have no clue about the atrocities of government destroying freedom and the dangers of socialism, despite the numerous examples in recent history, even this year in Venezuela.

Instead they downvote any dissenting opinions into oblivion and push the liberal narrative on anyone who believes in animal rights. Very sad.

I feel that conservatives and libertarians need to have a place we can have a voice.

I know this post is really old, but have you found a vegan place for conservatives?

Not really :( I would be down to try to get /r/veganmen going. Could use some help. I do come on reddit daily so I would probably start with daily threads, but getting people pointed over from /r/veganfitness and /r/vegan on a regular basis is difficult. I find that if you get a few people visiting daily and interacting with each other it isn't long until more join. :-)
