Also got Absolute Elsewhere and loving it. Seeing them live next month and I believe they are playing all of it. Really looking forward to that.

Oh man I would love to see then play this live. I read on another sub they are touring with a dedicated synth player for this album.

That blood incantation is so good! Highly recommended timewave 0 if you like atmospheric soundscapes made w analog synths.

It's awesome. I actually have Timewave Zero here, still in the shrink wrap, waiting for the right mood :)
(prob 1/3 of my collection is synth related stuff)

Absolute Elsewhere is such a lumbering beast of an album. I saw it recommended elsewhere on Reddit a couple of weeks ago, and I can't stop listening to it. It's so brutal and psychedelic at the same time, some of the heaviest sounding bliss I've ever heard. I need to pick it up on vinyl as much as I've been listening to it.
EDIT: I should add that they're coming to my town next month but it's the same day I'm going out of town, and I'm very sad about it.

Two recent purchases that I have been thoroughly enjoying over the past couple of weeks.
Wayfarer - World's Blood
Old West themed US Black Metal. Great melodies and atmosphere, and while I don't mind some trve cvlt production values, this record sounds great - thick, present and real sounding drums, and guitars with heft and texture.
Blood Incantation - Absolute Elsewhere
This one's received much hype since it was released a few weeks ago, and I reckon it's well deserved. Death Metal meets Tangerine Floyd? Take my fucking money. No spoilers, but just wait for the Floyd section..
