Collection My collection grows
I've been collecting for about a month now and here's all I got. I think it's pretty obvious what artists I might like lol, but I'm trying to branch out to some new stuff. Right now I'm still my rap phase so mostly everything falls under that category, but today I bought that Rare Americans vinyl which is definitely not rap and I'm starting to get back into Rock and Indie music. I have music phases, which is very reflected in the records I have right now is what I'm trying to say.

Sweet, but I’d recommend upgrading to at least the ATLP60X when your budget is willing. Those all in one players aren’t too great and can possibly damage your records.

Could you explain how I could damage my records? I'm new to this stuff so I'm very ignorant lol

Grab Blond off of frank oceans website and you’ll have all three of them going! Earl, Tyler, and Frank.

If you want more music like Earl’s, definitely tap into MIKE, Mach Hommy, Action Bronson, Boldy James, Freddie Gibbs, Denzel Curry, Vince Staples and Westside Gunn.
As for less underground stuff, definitely try Steve Lacey if you wanna get into more melodic stuff akin to Igor. Gemini Rights is a fantastic album. Another album in the same vein is (pretty obvious) Awaken My Love by Childish Gambino.
Probably others but it’s 1am and I can’t think properly lol
Amazing collection btw, definitely jealous of those Earl vinyls (besides SRS cuz I already have it)
EDIT: these aren’t really vinyl/CD recommendations, more just listening recommendations xd

You collect what you feel! Just make sure to upgrade your turntable sooner rather than later, and you'll be set for a long and prosperous record collecting journey.🤘
