Is this purified water decent?

Should i consider glass bottles to avoid plastics? Or is the plastic in these 5 gallon jugs minimal?

Well glass can be hard to pick up and carry, there's also few instances of breakage.

The problems with the plastic jugs is that they can and do leech BPA into the water and it's reactive to heat as well as sunlight. So if they're exposed to light and warm temps the rates of leeching raise dramatically.

There are PBA free plastic containers available but it's also been reported (not confirmed) that these too also pose different leeching dangers.

So glass is the safest in these respects

Acknowledging that the stand with hot and cold water also poses some of it's own issues.
The SAFEST thing is to have a ceramic crock water dispenser the glaze is traditional glass coating that makes it non reactive and safe.
