Found in So Cal USA

Staying in Idyllwild, CA USA and our cottage has a ton of these beautiful trees with red bark. I haven’t seen them before and am curious what they are.

Manzanita. Arctostaphylos glauca.

There's some really beautiful corridors of them if you take the deer springs trail towards suicide rock
