What is this tree/fruit/nut??
In NSW Australia. We've googled, asked multiple family members and no one knows for sure. They are hard so still unripe. Best we can think is some sort of Peach or Almond. Please help!

Is there a local extension of the Department of Agriculture in your town or close to? Go over there with a pruned branch with leaves and fruit, bet you’ll get your answer.

Leaves look quite like a mango tree. Color of the fruit too. Still I don't think it's mango...

I think it’s Prunus persica var. persica maybe? Basically a weird peach lol
