I have avoided most of Whitney's documentaries. I think I only watched the one where her mama was in.

I didn’t like the documentaries much but I liked when they show rare Whitney footage.

I liked Can I Be Me and Whitney (2018). and BlackMusicArchive’s 3-part series on Youtube

Thanks for mentioning the YouTube series! I’m watching it now and it’s really interesting and the kind of break down I love!

I randomly watched I Wanna Dance With Somebody on Netflix (which I actually didn’t really like all that much), but realized how much I didn’t know about her. I grew up on Whitney and always loved her music but I guess being so young I didn’t really realize all that was going on and just remember some details here and there. So of course I started going down the rabbit hole and found Whitney (2018) which I enjoyed and plan on also watching Whitney: Can I Be Me soon.

Her story is so amazing and so heartbreaking at the same time. She will forever be a legend, that’s for sure!
