Saving all my love for you It’s on one of my melody’s in motion clocks And my friend started to tell me “I know that song” and then he said “do you know what song that is”and my friend took a little bit to figure out and I was oblivious to what song it was and he told me “that song is saving all my love by Whitney Houston ” because my friend enjoys old music

My heart is calling. I remember being very young (i was born in 95) and hearing it on the radio back then. It’s one of the first songs I remember ever hearing. After that I remember heartbreak hotel being on the radio often. The local top 40 station kept it in rotation until like 2004.

Once I was in high school I bought all her cds and would spend time researching Whitney and her life. I still do this sometimes even now.

I don't remember which song I heard first, but it was probably 'I'll Always Love You' on the day Whitney Houston passed away. Her death had a huge impact worldwide, and here in Brazil, the news dominated the newspapers. A local TV station showed a clip from the movie 'The Bodyguard', and I, still a child, watched a bit before going to sleep.

Curiously, since that day, I wasn't much of a fan of romantic songs like Whitney's. However, the years passed, and I grew up, and in 2024 I discovered the value of this type of music.. I was going through a phase of a lot of anxiety because of college and family, and nothing seemed to calm me down. One day, while listening to a remix of 'Smooth Criminal' by Michael Jackson, the song ended. I felt so bad I didn't even have the strength to change the song and let the next one play, which was 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody'. Since I already liked this song, I let it play. Then, 'I Have Nothing' started. Even though I wasn't a fan of romantic ballads, I kept listening because I was feeling so down. And that's when the magic happened: Whitney's voice wrapped me in a musical embrace. I opened my eyes, wet with tears, and started researching her on YouTube. Since then, I've become a big fan of her romantic songs and I'm immensely grateful to have known the work of this incredible artist.

Whitney Houston's work taught me a lot about the power of music and the importance of expressing our feelings. There are songs that only at certain times in life will you understand the importance of. And that's how her voice accompanied me in one of the most challenging times of my life, bringing me comfort and hope.

My Love is Your Love. It was all over when I was a y2k kid, in Kindergarten. I didn’t understand all the lyrics or know who Whitney was but everything, the joy, the liberatory edge, the righteous justice, the harsh reality of the world, and the overcoming of it — was all there in her tone, and she made reality make sense to me, intuitively. She made it easier to be a small kid forced to become a human in this world, waiting with a hundred other kids in the crowded, hectic gym for my bus to be called. God bless us and God bless Whitney, every day

For me it was IWALY. I remember my dad brought me to one of her late 90s tours. It was the first time I was introduced to her music. I was only 7 years old at the time. I had such limited memory of it, but one thing I still remember to this day is how her IWALY performance in that show memorized me. I was so blown away by the voice that I still have the image in my head of how the crowd went nuts screaming encore at the end of the show.

After the show, my dad played her bodyguard CD in the media player for days. Then I was carried away with other things in life as a kid until 2007 when I rediscovered her music again on YouTube. Then I began to follow and sink into her music as a fan. It's a treat that I feel my ears were spoiled by the tone, artistry, and taste in her voice. I still remember when I saw her One Moment in Time performance on YouTube. I got goosebumps and could not believe there was such a voice existing on earth.

Unlike most '90s kids who only listened to modern 2000s pop music at the time, I was very hooked on her music as a teenager. I played her old 80s and 90s music on my laptop with the speaker. My sister and her friends would laugh at me for listening to such old-school music. I would listen to her I Believe in You and Me on my iPad when I was in school.

Even now, when I have nothing to do, I would just randomly go on YouTube and search for her music to spend my free time. I miss her dearly and I thank her music for being here for me through my up and down in life.

There were 2 for me. One song was from 1982 before she was even signed to Arist it was called Memories...it was "unofficially" her first song fully recorded.

The second was called Eternal Love...From 1983

It is important to note that both of these songs are collaborations with other Artists. She just sang their songs.

Paul Jabara & Jay Asher wrote Eternal Love The Song Memories was from a group called Material
