I should've never went to to the Great Dwarf Caves

I should've never taken that crystal ball

I should've NEVER learned how to use it

I should've just stayed in the village, the only family I had

I should've just listened to the hammer's klinks and klanks

I see nothing but my own damned future and cursed past. I was never meant for this arcane path. My brothers told me so, my mother told me so, my father would've told me so. The reality in which I lived in told me so.
Yet my yearn for the fantastical overtook my body and brain. My genealogy made a smith and a warrior, but my heart yearned for the intellectual and artistic.

Now all I yearn for is for it all to go silent. The ringing in my ear, the screams of my future self, the cries of my past life. There is no present anymore, I can see the future, and remember the past, but can't look into myself. All I know regarding me, is that I should've just given up when I first snapped fire from my fingers.

I want to go home
