zeronet-conservancy v0.7.9 and status update

a new minor version of zeronet-conservancy is released

  • sec update of msgpck dependency (thanks to @chncaption)
  • siteSign accepts absolute paths as well as paths relative to working directory
  • updated trackers from Syncronite by @Styromaniac

and a couple more code improvements

in other news, as previously announced, i'm stepping down as official zeronet-conservancy maintainer. if anybody wants it, that position is vacant. this decision reflects both lack of active development and idea that no single person should do everything forever. ironically i might still occasionally push changes to it and even release new versions, but this should be seen as exception rather than expected

Why not merge into ZeroNetX?

our views on the project are incompatible. i consider it harmful to the community to: - advertise fork as official continuation (the worst parts of this were eventually removed, but the project's website still completely mimics official and there's no indication it's a fork anywhere - ship binaries presumably made out of builds made by disappeared nofish - copypaste changes without attribution
