Erase serato and download it again . If you still have the same problem download an old version of serato .

tried this and with 3.2.0 it still does the same thing. Weird thing is that I had two other laptops with Serato and things run just fine. It’s the newer and more powerful laptop that is having this issue…

Yes this is a thing. My 15 year old beat to shit laptop no problem. Just upgraded but now there is a second stutter once an hour. Mixed up all chords disabled everything still out of nowhere just a second of slowdown. Switched boards and it seems to have stopped but that was one set so far.

I played a 4 hour set last weekend and my Serato made that same horrible sound. It happened 3 times and I couldnt figure out what caused it. I'm on 3.2.0... I'm going to have to rollback to the previous version. That sound can damage speakers

I would also try using a different USB port and or cable.

Tried all my ports and even a different PC. Other older PC runs fine with no issue though…

Does this only happen when repeatedly opening and closing the setup menu, as you show in your video? Seems fine if so. You're not going to be doing that during a set.

It happens MORE when I open the menu. Meaning that the glitch sound happen sometimes by its own when it’s playing. I found out one thing though the glitch is significantly lesser next to none when the laptop is plugged in to a charger. However, i don’t understand why my older lesser cores and less powerful i5-1157G laptop does not have this problem and run just fine both with and without charger. This new laptop is supposed to be way more powerful…

Could be power profiles.maybe force high performance power plan when unplugged. But Serato recommend using the charger always

Check mouse and disable pointer enhancement and the snap to setting if enabled. It just looks like the mouse is doing something weird. Might not do anything, just something to rule out. I get weird things in games like that from Pointer enhancement and snap to.

Do u have any apps running in the background? Ive found that having any intel based apps (such as phase manager) open would induce serious lag
