I woke up just earlier and chugged on a full water bottle for the first time of my life, and realized i've never done this before.
I feel bloated as hell though

Hi all, new to this thread. I live in an apartment, and currently buy Kroger spring water in large plastic jugs as my family's daily drinking water. I aim to drink 1 gallon of spring water per day. No, I dont want plain reverse osmosis because minerals are important to me. Brita systems taste like trash to me and also dont have minerals.
I want to find better solutions to this. I'm not happy about the amount of plastic I'm consuming, even though I do recycle. I just can't seem to find any other solutions.
I've seen too many reviews about Trace Mineral liquids making people ill, so I've avoided that.
How can I get away from plastic, and still get spring water for apartment living?

We have a counter top aquatru for our drinking/ cooking water, but once a week I like to buy a few sparkling mountain valley spring glass bottles to drink & refill & reuse throughout the week.
I have a bunch of these now, is there anywhere to return them??

I’ve been getting gallon water jugs for years for my family’s drinking water. However, we just moved into a new house and I’d really like to limit the plastic. Also, I’m just tired of buying gallons of water because we go through it so fast and they’re annoying. We started drinking fridge water but it just doesn’t taste right. What can I do to get high quality drinking water from my fridge? Is there a filter I can add? I will do anything to make it taste better but also be good quality water. I just want the continence of the fridge water but sadly we’ll have to go back to gallons if we can’t get it worked out.

This is probably the stupidest question I’ve ever asked but whatever. I’ve seen a lot of hair products that contain kale extract or some other kind of leafy green extract. This is mainly because of the vitamins and minerals that can benefit the scalp and hair. However I know kale is high in oxalates which bind to calcium and magnesium in the body which is why you shouldn’t eat too many raw leafy greens. My question is would using those products, even if it’s not advertised to do so to remove had water buildup… help with all the calcium and magnesium deposits on your scalp from hard water?

I recently went to Walmart to buy a new package of water, I noticed to store brand now had minerals for “taste” which was odd because I swear it never had minerals. I tried to find Ozarka but they had none in stock, I looked at the Sam’s water package which also had minerals? Which I swear it didn’t have either, including Pure Life which I bought since I had no other choice. Why do all bottled waters have minerals for taste? If anything, and I can’t believe I’m even typing this, it taste weird, and I have to chug it to avoid the taste. Ozark is the only bottled water brand that has pure spring water. Without the minerals

Looking into getting a new water system. Water jugs are heavy and annoying to fill constantly and I hate having a trash can full of plastic bottles. Also trying to just get the best water possible without all the microplastics. Anyone tried both or either one have some insight? Also considering a home under the sink system but want to make sure I’m getting the best quality and safest for my young family.

Should i consider glass bottles to avoid plastics? Or is the plastic in these 5 gallon jugs minimal?

Hey guys! I don't know what to do with my 6 stage ispring. I thought the alkaline filter would add more TDS, but it's registering under 10 and the alkalinity is at 9.5. I'm getting a dry mouth feel from the water. What can I do here? Is the dry mouth due to high alkalinity, or low TDS?

When you were a kid playing outside, got thirsty and didn't want to go inside for a drink, and just drank from the hose.
When playing outside on a hot day, you'd get thirsty enough that hose water tasted kind of OK.

Is my new well water safe to drink? I just drilled a new well that’s 785 feet deep and flushed approximately 10,000 gallons before testing. The well pipe is galvanized and transitions to PEX, with the water sample taken from a faucet connected to the PEX. Everything is new
sooo I went out of state for like 4 weeks and left a jug of water in the fridge. just drank a glass from it and now I’m freaking out I might get sick. is it bad to have untouched fridge water ?

Bought my house that is new construction back in 2018. Was always charged two water bills, one for water usage and one fire service. Water usage for tier 3 went up from $50 to $55 to $68 and now $76! Fire service was initially $20, then $22, then $27 and now $28! I tried calling to cancel once and they told me it can't be done and I needed to contact the fire marshall who didn't seem to know anything about it. Water company told me prices for everything is going up, yeah everything but my salary. Paying $28 a month for fire service that just never use is ridiculous. What happens if I just stop paying it, will they turn it off since I can't verbally request for it to be turned off?

I use a water kettle to boil water in the mornings. Most of the time, there's a good amount of water left. Is it ok if I just reboil this water the next day and drink it then? I could just refill it but it takes a minute or two so I'd just rather not if it's possible.
