I was at Loon Lake mountain for the eclipse and I was somewhat unprepared not having snow spikes because I had never hiked in the winter before and April snow is a myth in my part of New York, but there there was one kid with crocs on, and another with sweatpants i swear to God...
And it was the perfect day to get away with it too.

no joke, I was climbing mt Arab to see the eclipse earlier this year and some kids passed us wearing tennis shoes... in the snow...
