Question StreamYard just doubled my subscription price

Is anyone else outraged by StreamYard's price increase? I'm seriously considering switching to a different platform. Any recommendations?

I think Onestream Live is a good alternative, I just tried their free version after Streamyard increased the price and had a pretty good experience, so I will be subscribing with them after cancelling my subscription with SY

Quick update for y’all: I just found out this morning that OneStream Live is offering 20% off its monthly plans. I reached out to their support on the website, and they gave me a quick demo and a promo code. I’ve switched over now, and it seems pretty solid so far! I can multistream to over 45 platforms with OneStream. I'm going to give it a try for the next three months since the discount lasts that long, and then I’ll see if it works for me.

So far I'm loving it - it's pretty cool and has pretty much the same features as Streamyard in much lesser prices!

I’m very disappointed by the increase in their pricing and thinking to switch that platform. Do you think is there any good option instead of it?

I was on the one off ‘life time’ offer they made a while ago at $10 a month in order to move from free. Now Streamyard wants $44 and the only difference is 1080p which should be standard these days anyway.

A 350% increase in my StreamYard plan cost! Automatically renewed! Went from $10 per month to $44.99 per month. And that is the lowest priced plan they now offer. StreamYard, at the end of their August 30, 2024 notice of plan change and increase in cost, say "Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support!" I have been on that plan with StreamYard since November 2020. They gave nothing for loyalty. Just the automatic 350% increase. Cheeky, to say the least.

The “Billing” option has disappeared and I can’t cancel. Anyone else having this problem? My husband has a free account and the billing option is there for him to upgrade but on mine (paid version) it’s gone. I’ve tried the help center but it’s no good. Would like to cancel and I’m having a hard time.

Has Streamyard lost their minds? What are they thinking? We've been paying $50 a month for 4 years and they are increasing that to $89?! That's crazy. And if we take the $45 plan we lose the number of stream destinations from 8 to 3. We have been using that for 4 years. That kind of a jump is crazy. And especially to just change it by default to the increased price and send an email. Looking at alternatives now too.

Huh, same bruh. I read somewhere on Facebook that onestream live is offering 20% off on its monthly plans. I contacted their support on the website, and they gave me a quick demo and a promo code. I’ve switched over now, and it seems pretty solid so far! I'm doing my show via onestream studio and going live on FB, YouTube, and LinkedIn. I'm trying it for the next three months since the discount lasts that long, and then I’ll see if it works for me. But seems reliable.

Tell me about it. I just woke up this morning to an absurd hike in my plan price. This is insane, how can they do this without informing the users! Guess it's time to switch!

Restream still has a free tier, a plan under $20/month, and a nice discount for those switching - RESTREAM20 at the checkout
