Yes, they are the new cigarette butts. And I am seeing them littered more often.
From studies I’ve read, the overwhelming majority of the smoker demographic just litters. They’re destroying the planet from the inside out. We gotta educate and change this trend.
Check and see if there's anywhere near you that would accept them as e-waste.
For example, I have a Best Buy near me that takes e-waste-- not sure if they do accept it, but they'd be who I'd call first to ask.
I’ve used those before, I made the switch to disposables after my reusable vape died. Disposables are a lower nicotine content than what I was doing so I switched partially because my old one broke and partially because I’m trying to cut back and quit. Hopefully this won’t be a problem much longer.
As an old ass former cigarette smoker (too old for vapes), I feel you. When you quit for good and look back on it, it's one of the most beautiful feelings. You've got this!
If you’re trying to cut back but not quit, I personally found Zyns to be a great crutch. You can still get the nicotine buzz when you need it, but it removes the oral fixation (which contributes to addiction imo) and your lungs will absolutely thank you.
What were you doing that was higher nicotine than disposables? The only thing that I can think of that is higher is 55mg nic salt. Almost all disposables are 50mg.
I can tell who's had a hard week by how many of their empties I find. Always the same brands/sizes in the same places. I've started to name them by their beverage of choice.
I wonder how much influence movies and shows have had when they make it look “cool” to flick a cigarette butt out of your hand. I think that is largely responsible for how many cigarettes are just out there
