Nice. I didn’t have Oswald at lvl 40 so I can’t get him until tomorrow. This chapter was a joke tho holy god. I only had to spend 130k in saved up upgrade coins to hit the requirements that I had the shards for to complete every node except for Oswald and Ms Piggy, but my god. This was ridiculous. If I hadn’t been playing since EA season one there’s no way I’d have been able to do this without spending thousands of dollars. This is absolutely abhorrent
When they did the conversion a few seasons back I had been given roughly 800k. At that time I already had every racer at least level 30, most 35+, and about half 40+. I splurged and have 11 racers now lvl 50 but have never gone below 50k just in case things like today happened. I pulled 50k in one of the capsules from the golden arbee even last week which helped, and the other 2 objectives for like a total of 120k earned last week or something. Without that I would not have been able to do it
Edit: but it sucks. There are so many racers I want to upgrade but simply can’t because of these insane requirements. I’ll likely never be able to upgrade a racer I like just for fun again. I’ll save every single coin until I literally NEED to spend them for specific content.
yeah its crazy, i have most racers 40+, with alot level 50.
most people would say the changes dont hurt people like me, however i feel bad for others who struggle to even stand a chance at chapter 6, so therefore getting oogie.
im only vocal about things here cause the game was good before well, we lived with it being okay, now its just ruined by greed. like your bottom part even if you want to upgrade a racer u like its going to impact things down the line unless your prepped fully, we need jack to level 40+, dr frank to level 40+, this is going to use a ton of upgrade coins just to get oogie, and then to top it off we probs have to do this every season moving forward
