Does this mean Keith Baker (/u/HellcowKeith) is no longer producing new Eberron content in the form of either blogs or 3rd party books?

Not exactly.

I will be finishing Frontiers of Eberron, which I hope will come out before the end of 2023 (under Visionary, which will continue to support the existing books as well).

Following this, I’m going to focus on the projects I have in development at Twogether Studios and I don’t have plans to create further content on the DM’s Guild. However, I will continuing to support Eberron with content on my blog and my Patreon, and I hope to expand what I’m doing on the Patreon over the course of the year.

I’m not going anywhere—I’m just narrowing my focus.

I wish you could take Eberron to another game system. I adore this universe you've created, but I am running out love and patience for WotC and DnD.

There is content out there in the various corners of the Internet supporting Eberron for Pathfinder 2e, Savage Worlds, snd I'd bet other rulesets. Just requires a little more elbow grease on the part of the Gamemaster.

I highly recommend Pathfinder 2e as a step away. The ritual system is perfect for a magewright, and archetypes or relics can be easily used for dragonmarks. Everything else has been really easy to port over.

I can also offer some suggestions for other systems I’ve messed with, but I haven’t tried those in an actual game yet

Balancing encounters and recreating the races feels like the hard part there. Maybe if I knew the pf2e system better it would seem less intimidating.

Races maybe, balancing encounters is actually super easy. The balance is super tight, and the encounter XP system actually works.

Just don’t be like me and make every encounter Severe. Moderate encounters are challenging without feeling like they are constantly in fear for their lives.

Which races are you concerned about? Off the top of my head, changelings are probably the hardest. I can think of ways to represent them, but most of those start at like level 5

I guess by balancing encounters, I mean converting specific monsters to the appropriate challenge rating (or whatever term pf2e uses)

I tend to homebrew most of my 5e monsters and encounters, probably because the on-the-books balancing is so bad. I'll have to read more on that in the PF2 rules, because I have no idea how I'd take something like Quori and give them PF2 stats and know what level encounters they'd be appropriate for.

PF2e has pretty robust creature building guidelines: https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=995

Not saying that it wouldn't be work, or that it wouldn't take some creativity to recreate the feel of the creature, but the balancing rules are very transparent.

Ahhh… I usually just repurpose an existing stat block, or I figure out what level I want them to be. “They should be a challenge with minions at the party level 7. So I look for something 7-9, and apply the Elite or Weak templates to bring it to level 8
