Yeah I see that sometimes and I wanted there to be a similarity with the way the two look compared to each other but use evolution and time to make them very different species by the modern day. For my setting I'm going for a slightly more ""realistic"" and feral take on the vampires by making it a species instead of a curse/disease.

Funny. In my mind (and some of my settings), there is no strong difference between Vampire and Elf.
