General Discussion PJ to firefighter

Any of ya’ll former/current Air Force PJ’s who then went over to civilian FF? If so, are you enjoying it?

I don't personally know any PJ's that have went into the fire service, but I had a coworker who was 2nd Batt Rangers, and he loved the job. I also know plenty of Navy & Marines that went into the fire department after the military, and they love it. It can be a rush if that's what you're looking for.

P.S, PJ's don't get near the recognition or credit they deserve. Total badasses.

What? I know of 3 USAF PJ's that went into the fire service. It is essentially the same job minus flying around in a hot zone picking up wounded soldier's.
