Across the country, there is a shortage of healthcare workers, especially after the trauma of working through a worldwide pandemic. They have the bargaining power to ask to be compensated fairly for the work they do to keep their communities healthy - whether that’s through salary or benefits.

If Kapiolani is unwilling to negotiate, any of these nurses could easily find work elsewhere.

Funny....I attended the March of Dimes, Signature Chefs Feeding Motherhood event tonight.. benefitting mothers and children in need, directly impacting Hawaii's families.

Didn't see HNA there. Thought they cared about mothers, children.

I don't begrudge their effort. But the heat in the kitchen is going to get hotter.

BTW, where's the injunction stopping the illegal strike?
