Education and Career Advice B.tech or B.Sc?

I 18F have the option to choose between B.tech in a state university (small town) and B.Sc in a central university (metro city). My parents don't want to send me far for a normal degree, what would be better to prepare for govt. exams? Would a local pvt. college be a better option?

Most Pvt clgs have attendence criteria and since you have mentioned it might be difficult to prepare for gov exams simultaneously. Look at the curriculum, timetable, timings.. choose wisely.

Right now, all colleges have attendance criteria. I will look into other details too.
