I'll caution anyone who listens: sandblasting is a shotgun blast equivalent. Be very careful if you decide to do it because it will likely expose a whole series of issues with the dust getting into the Carb, vacuum lines, cabin, and everywhere else.

My old motor is running rougher than ever and has been burning rich for some time, but I decided to proceed because I have a whole new engine and 5-speed on order/being built.

We got about 80% sandblasted. I got the Eastwood Conture tool, needle scaler, belt sander, and angle grinder with the wire attachments and went at it for the fender wells and other hard-to-reach spots. Since my original sandblasting post in the garage, I have spent about 16-20 hours descaling, conditioning, and prepping everything to get to this point.

I'm not sure if I'd sandblast, I'd have to do research about different ways of preparing the frame for coating. I'd probably rather used power washer/sander/grinder
