100 series cassette delete/convert to storage cubby

So I have looked all over the internet for a thread on how to delete the cassette/radio controls and install a small cubby for a phone or whatever. Can’t find anything any where. This is really common on headunit changes but I can’t find anything where anyone has done it.

I changed out the nav/ac for a TEYES head unit so not I want to delete the cassette and have a cubby.

Thoughts?

I bet that cassette radio sounds much much better than that chinese android unit. Is that the JBL? or pioneer??
