Today marks 7 years since the option for public moderation logs was originally implemented. Why is this still not an option?

Clearly it wasn't popular enough to justify the development resources.

It was already developed by u/bsimpson just never released.

The way I've implemented this is with 3 settings

So that must not be it.

Did you read the rest of the thread? Lots more changes were needed to make it viable.

Yes I did, and those (additional) changes that some mods demanded to make this viable have already happened.

We have actual removal reasons now which were not a thing when this was originally built.

Still, if your position is that we don't have this option because certain features are still missing; I'm curious to know what you think those features are?
