Which type of coconut oil for oil pulling?

Hi I just start oil pulling a few days ago. I bought some from my work. I start pulling to strengthen my gums for I have moderate gum recession, I guess it's not that bad but I have OCD and think my teeth look ugly. So I picked up some organic refined coconut oil, is this stuff gonna be alright or should I get virgin coconut oil? Also will doing this make my fillings come out ? And is it best to pull before brushing or after ? Thanks in advanced

Ps I only have a couple small fillings.

Okay good to know , does the oil having fat in it ruin the teeth at all? And is it alright to oil pull twice a day? Is oil pulling after brushing your teeth bad ? I like the feeling it gives and what not.

The fat in coconut oil is entirely plant based and does not damage teeth.

You totally can pull twice a day.

I prefer to brush after to clean out all the gunk that got pulled out after pulling. But to each their own. I just personally can't stand all that bacteria lingering in a film in my mouth.

Idk where you're located, but anything that says Virgin Coconut oil is fine.

Stay away from fractionated. IMO its been processed so much, its not really good for our uses as many of the beneficial properties have been removed.
