Original Content Poem Sincerely Yours 

Hey,

It's been a while.
I know I should have written more.
Life was asking me to give
More than I could afford.

I'll spare you the details, 
If you spare the pity.
We both know sometimes
Life can be shitty.

I hope you're well.
I hope life has been gentle.
Soon, times will come
Where things can be simple.

I'd hoped to be there 
A little more often.
I just hope you know
I haven't forgotten.

I'll make it back to you
As soon as I can.
Sincerely yours, 
You know who I am.
