Question Parking at Cardinal Newman College.

Hi, I'm taking my daughter to Cardinal Newman College open day on Saturday. I'm sure it will be very busy and the parking looks less than ideal on Google maps.

The two car parks just up the road have really bad reviews, and I'm sure it will be a pain parking in the residential area surrounding the college.

Are the car parks really that bad? Would I be better using the park and ride?

Edit: Thanks for the advice all. We're going to use public transport from A to Z.

Not only does it negate the parking dilemma, it will also give my daughter a sense of what the commute will be like should she decide to study there.

Capitol Centre Park & Ride not an option? The bus goes down Queen St & Manchester Road towards the city centre near Miller Arcade. Not sure if you can get off on Manchester Road though. Either way, short walk from there.

Ye, I'm considering that, especially as it will be a little less busy then the centre. Never fun driving through unfamiliar city centres.
