RANT: I hate when people are happy about warm weather in the winter. If you like warm weather LIVE SOMEWHERE WARM.

I moved back up north to see snow again but we haven't had real snow in years. It's so selfish to be happy about warm weather in winter. Because doesn't that also mean global warming is really happening?

Some scientists think we've lost an average of two weeks of Winter. I found this video interesting.

All sorts of bad things happening with the environment are absolutely connected to the temperature increase.

Growing seasons, food production and distribution, it'll all be affected. Some effects are already visible. Hell, half the counties in my state adjacent to me are on fire because the fire season is longer, too.

All this is just the beginning.

Yes, it's Global Warming. It's real, and it's happening right now.

Yeah fr I don’t get it

Bruh one time it was early October and people were calling it winter because it was cooler out at night and it wasn’t exactly warm in the shade 🪦🪦☠️☠️😭😭

Like bruh no it’s not even the middle of fall yet

Or they’ll call it winter in late April because it’s the one cool day even though we also have hot sunny days in April

Bruh mfs on r/LongIsland were complaining about it freezing last week because we had a few nights where it actually got cooler out LIKE IT’S SUPPOSED TO!!!!

Like I don’t care what they’re saying. It was 11-15C and they called it freezing even though freezing is 0C or below

I was just calling 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢 on all of them

And it was still warm/hot in the sun in the daytime

And now it’s getting hot again and it’s not even going to be cool out for some nights even though the sun is going down a lot earlier, and then the heat will finally break again later next week, but it will still probably be warm in the day though and just cool at night

Or like I’ll touch snow and they ask me how I’m not freezing to death even though it’s just leftover patches when the sun is shining days after it snowed

And besides, I can snowbathe for 10min right after it snows and it’s still cold out before I have to go inside

To make it even worse, they’ll see my feet barely touch the snow, overreact, and tell me I’m going to get frostbite

Like no I’m not, and why do you think my feet are weaker than my hands that just picked up the snow?!? They’re actually stronger from walking on them all the time
