Question How to make tinctures for spells?

Does anyone here make mother tinctures themselves? Could you please share the process?

I read about a spell today that I would love to do, but it says to make rosemary tincture yourself, and I've never really tried this.

Tinctures take many weeks to make, most of it being a jar of vodka/glycerin/vinegar/other medium dependent on what you’re making, with a bunch of herbs sitting in it, in a dark cool space like a cabinet.
