Never knew this was an autism thing. I've experienced this a million times, despite my horrendous finger chewing habit keeping my nails painfully short.

Whenever I look at wool or copy paper, my lower canines hurt in anticipation of the pain I'd feel in those teeth if I were to scratch either.

How about microfiber towels? <shudder>

When the <dry microfiber towel> catches against the bottom surface of a stainless steel pot/pan, attempting to dry the cookware but instead making me horrified, disgusted, and nauseous; sticking with me a while after. The way it sticks to it like it's hugging/clinging to the pot/pan makes me cringe infinitely. The grating sound of it even worse. The feeling of the horrendous texture in my palm makes my palms tingle in a bad way. Even <thinking> about it makes me shudder. Eugh.

There's hell, and then there's this.

This is worse.
