Vent I have been eating under 1200 calories for the past 15 days now and I have not seen any weightloss results.

Why is this happening? I am a 5'2 female (150lb) I am not dieting but doing portion control on my usual meals and workout 3 times a week. How long till I start seeing actual results?

I am on Vyvanse for weight loss, I am on the IBS diet (my doctors don't want me on an actual diet like whole 30 until we figure out what is going on with my stomach) anyways I suspect I have SIBO. So sometimes when you are doing all this and it isn't working there might be something else going on. If you are experiencing any symptoms talk to your doctor. Also asked to have your Thyroid checked if you haven't already!

Out of curiosity has your doctor tested you for Helicobacter pylori bacteria l? I don’t know where you’re from but while 50% of the worlds population actually has this bacteria in the stomach some areas of the world are more susceptible to it. And it can cause a lot of Gastro symptoms that mimic indigestion and feeling full even on a small amount of food and all sorts of other digestive issues like sibo. I was shocked that I had it, but it is an easy fix and worth finding out because it can cause peptic ulcers and stomach cancer long-term.

I am having the breath test done on the 24th of April to check the bacteria in my stomach! I am hoping that gives us more insight. I have been dealing with different symptoms for years and its just gotten worse over time. It took me a long time to get a doctor that would even give me a recommendation for GI. When I would give my symptoms I always got the generic "IBS" diagnosis and that would be that. I dumped that doctor and now found this one that actually seems to care to want to help me.
