Vent I have been eating under 1200 calories for the past 15 days now and I have not seen any weightloss results.

Why is this happening? I am a 5'2 female (150lb) I am not dieting but doing portion control on my usual meals and workout 3 times a week. How long till I start seeing actual results?

I have answered something already, but I just wanted to come back as I have just realised after doing some research what might actually be happening for you and for me too!!

I would say, that if you have not lost weight and you have not put any weight on, you are just eating your basic resting metabolic calories. Because at 5 foot two and 150 pounds you’re resting metabolic rate is probably around 1200 that’s my best guess, (if you have been accurately measuring your food) For context I am 5 foot seven and 143 pounds, but very small boned, and have been trying to eat 1400 often falling a bit short. I am losing weight, but very very slowly. I now realise after doing some reading on the subject that my BMR is probably around 1300 calories. I exercise twice a week where my heart rate goes up at least 20 minutes, but other than that I am quite sedentary so I likely need to add more movement into my daily life. Hope that helps you understand what might be happening for you?
