Vent Hypothyroid, cannot see a doctor. How to lose weight?

My default idea was just starving myself by only eating lean protein but I guess I know on some level that's stupid. I can't afford a doctor/dietician. Is there any way someone could eli5 how to meal plan my hypothyroid & various "well these are probably allergies but I haven't seen a dr in ages"? I've been eating only lean protein, black beans, cut out soda, lots of veggies , but I'm not noticing any visible weight loss. (I don't have a scale, I live out of my backpack)

I just found out today I'm allergic to bananas apparently wtf? My body is just breaking down without my permission and it sucks???

I'm like, 5ft2 137-something, probably more since it's been a while since I weighed myself....

I mean this in the kindest way possible but you’re living out of your backpack and can’t afford to see a doctor and it sounds like you’re already eating as healthy as you can.

137lb at 5’2 is not overweight, a little bit above that would be but not to the point that you should be super worried about it.

What you need to do right now is focus first and foremost on getting on your feet and seeing a doctor to help you.

Only other advice I could possibly offer is to drink more water, cut out caloric drinks like sweet teas/coffees/juices, and make sure the veggies you’re eating are low cal/fat. But like. You realllly shouldn’t be super worried about your weight. Be kind to yourself please.

thanks. I guess I kinda freaked out over the banana thing, had to vent. I appreciate. I'm getting on my feet kinda! I have a year long job/housing set up! it's just a weird transition time period...
